Prologue Part 2: The Conspiracy Revealed
Several seconds later he reappraised in a dark, circular cavern. There wasn’t anything to out of the ordinary about the cavern. There were no apparent entrances and yet it glowed with a faint light. In the center of the cavern there was a circular stone table with a somewhat large scroll laid across it. Around the table there stood three men with their heads bowed that appeared to be deep in concentration. All three wore the same black robes and hood with a black glove over their right hand. Like the man from the forest each one had a black gem infused to the glove. The man standing across from the “leader” finally looked up at the new comer.
“Ah it’s about time you got here Shi,” he said with a yawn.
“Shut up Itami,” Shi snapped, “not all of us were given easy jobs like you!”
“Ah yes because circumventing the security of an entire clan for month at a time is easy,” he replied mockingly.
“Compared to circumventing the security of nine countries and summoning nine demons it is,” Shi replied harshly. One of the other men lifted his head to speak.
“Brothers must you engage in such petty arguments every time we meet? Besides our master is waiting,” the man said calmly.
“Whatever Hi”, Itami replied somewhat annoyed. At this point the fourth man stepped forward and unrolled the scroll that sat on the table. The scroll seemed like any other. In the center was a large circle with various inscriptions around written around it. Placed at various points around the circle were four smaller circles.
In unison all four men began signing a complex set of seal, each slightly different than the others. After several minutes all four stopped.
“Forbidden Ninja Art: Soul Communication Jutsu”, all four said together. Like before the gem on Shi’s glove began to glow a deep blue. The other men’s gems also began to glow. Itami’s began to shine a bright green, Hi’s gave off a dark purple light, and the fourth man’s gem turned from the darkest of black to the purest of white. The scroll also began to change. Each of the smaller circles began to glow with a color corresponding to the color of one of the four gems. Finally the large circle began to glow a dark crimson red as a thin plum of black smoke began to rise out of the center of the circle and floated to the top of the cavern. After several minutes a large cloud of smoke had formed. Two small red dots appeared in the center of the cloud. All four men kneeled and bowed their heads as the dots began to grow in size until they formed two large red eyes. A lour, deep voice appeared out of the cloud.
“Ah you finally return my faithful disciples, I trust you bring me good news,” the voice said. When none of the men answered the eyes turned toward the leader from the forest. “Shi, status report,” the voice bellowed.
Shi lifted his head and looked straight into the piercing red eyes and replied calmly.
“All nine Bijuu have been successfully summoned at the locations that you indicated and several have already been sealed away into various vessels just as you said they would be.”
“Excellent”, the voice replied as it’s gaze sifted toward the source of the green light. “Itami, how goes your quest?”
“My agents have already infiltrated Uchiha and are ready to begin the uprising whenever needed. Also the newly born Uchiha seems most likely to inherit the strongest of the Sharingan to date,“ he said without even lifting his head.
“I’ve heard that from you before”, the voice said with a slight chuckle, “Anyway keep an eye on the child and see what he does, we may be able to use him,” the voice replied as it turned it’s attention toward the bearer of the purple gem. “Hisansa”, the voice shouted as it echoed thought the cavern.
“Aww come on master can’t you just call me Hi like everyone else does?” he said in a whiny tone.
The red eyes seemed to narrow in annoyance at this question. “I will call you by the name I gave you, besides it seems to fit your ‘personality’ ”, the voice said without a hint of anger.
“Whatever,” Hisansa said, “anyway my search for the second bearer of those eyes has been a success. My search led me to a young boy in the Rain Village and I have taken certain steps to ‘speed-up’ his awakening.”
The voice sighed. “I hope you didn’t damage him to badly with your ‘unique’ methods. He is to valuable to lose because of your twisted sense of fun.”
An evil grin spread across Hisansa’s face. “Don’t worry master I just made him more ‘open’ to certain ideas.”
The eyes seemed to ignore this comment as they turned toward the fourth man who had hardly spoken. “Kanashimi, how goes the search for my ten scrolls of sealing?”
"The scrolls have been located my master. Your awakening can now begin."
